that would be the first thing a thief/purse snatcher goes for. then HE has YOUR gun.

No disrespect Bow but I keep picturing a saloon girl with a derringer tucked in her garter. LOL My wife carries a Ruger LCP in .380. Not on the inner thigh but in a sob holster. I think you will be very pleased with the LCP

Oh to be built like a saloon girl...:D

Seriously, I work in a warehouse and dress like a bum most of the time so I like to paint on some pretty and wear a dress and heels every now and then, especially since I lost weight. I don't like being unarmed when I am. I have looked at every way imaginable to carry while wearing a dress and the thigh is the best option for my wardrobe....unless I go back to just pants and big, baggy, frumpy shirts.

There are purses made with a holster to hold your weapon inside. You would just have to keep up with your purse at all times since your gun would be in it.

I have seen them and had thought about getting one but I just can't get comfortable with the idea of purse carry. That is the first thing a thief will grab.

Your awareness of your surroundings and who's around you has to go up a notch when you are purse carrying, as well as any other type of carrying a weapon.
Awareness is the one attribute that will pretty much keep you out of trouble almost all the time...and if you are aware of who is around, you probably will never have to use that gun...and you probably won't ever lose that purse, either.
