I guess this is my answer:
Couple years back I decided I'd like to try owning a Jeep Wrangler as a crossover street/hunting/convertible ride. I was pretty wide open to the details of it, as long as it was 4-cylinder (fuel economy), standard transmission (fuel econ. and that's what real men drive), and it wasn't black (danged 4-wheeled microwave in the summer).
Found my vehicle on eBay! Flew myself and my wife to Buffalo, NY to pick it up and drive it home.
It was a 4-cylinder black Jeep Wrangler, automatic. Enjoyed driving it for 2 years, then when I was done getting it out of my system (and had given up on the idea of fuel economy ever crossing paths with a Jeep Wrangler), I sold it to Whelen Man.

Uhhh yea. I don't care one bit what my vehicle looks like. The next vehicle I buy will likely be after a hail storm...big discount.

I've owned 10 trucks in 15 years and most colors so color is not a huge deal to me but I do have my limits. That said if I could save $9000 it would have to be some butt ugly color for me not to buy it. Of course I trade quite often so odds are if I ended up not liking it I would get rid of it sooner rather than later.

Your saying you got 13000 dollars offer, off of a brand new Z71 just because it was painted a different color? Couldnt have been the same identical truck, could it?

If its not white, I'll walk.
If I buy one off a car lot, find the one I like take 16% off sticker price and find an idiot, oh I mean salesman.
Don't want to hear the bs, here is my #, text me the price and if you are in the ball park, we'll talk later. Then I leave

Could you deal with a color of a truck you don't like to save $9,000 off the sticker?
I'd say go to Edmunds.com to see what folks in your area are paying then pick what you want. Dealers won't give you a discount on color. And sure hope you're not talking about paying the MSRP sticker price. That's insane.
