Went to Gatlinburg Thursday and planned on going to Dollywood on some free tickets my niece gave me for Friday. Looked like rain so I said to the wife and son..lets go to cades cove and do the loop and we can use the tickets another time. You would have thought I asked them to kill someone. We compromised and they said just let us out in Gatlinburg and we will shop and you can go to the cove... 5 hours later she is calling.. where are you we are hot tired and ready to go.. didn't get the message until an hour later when I stopped at the Park Welcome center..

... She was PO

and boy was hot...But I had a wonderful afternoon..

Deer, Turkey, old churches, studied the old cemetery head stones (interesting)and the majestic mountains..
