Those were the fun times..... I remember when my boy was 13 and he played in the world series (he's now almost 20 yrs old). You have to love all the days spending at the ball parks (rain or shine) and watching the kids play........ I have more time on my hands during the weekends since those days (even hunting season/fall ball)...
Enjoy it while you can....

its a great feeling when you take a group of kids and work hard to accomplish a goal and see it come to pass. my son has shot for chaneylakes skeet team the past 3 years. last year i took our 7th and 8th graders and coached exactly what chaneylake wanted. that group has now won stae 2 years running. the look on those hard working kids faces is worth it all.

Thats pretty special for the kids, parents and coaches. Enjoy the moment because it goes by quick. My son won back to back state championships in high school (Fl) and a national championship. He just finished his last year of college ball and I wouldn't have changed a thing. All of these moments will last a life time just prepare yourself for the end because it comes sooner than you think. Enjoy the moment!

congrats big c i been coaching rec ball for 12 yrs >this yr its differnt we placed 2nd out of 20 teams in the preseason tourment then won 32 staright games had a perfect regular season at 26_0 ..won first in the district then first in the goodwill games.. today we run ruled the first 2 teams then beat a power house from west tn mckinzie heat then lost the champ game to portland>>my girl got all mvp >>world seris at the end of july.
