Well I bought my wife a teacup yorkie 3 years ago (6 weeks old) and it would whine all night then when we put it in bed it would crawl in between my legs by my knees under the sheets and not make another sound. Three years later she still does it every night. If she gets thirsty or has to go to the bathroom she will whine to wake me up. I cant complain she wieghs 4.2 lbs.
