WOODBURY, Tenn. - Police are searching Wednesday afternoon for two inmates who escaped the Cannon County Jail.
The inmates were identified as Aubrey Sanders, who was being held on meth charges, and James Hill, who is accused of attempted murder. Both are 31 year old.
They were last seen heading from the jail into the woods behind Stones River Hospital, which is located at 324 Doolittle Rd. in Woodbury.
One inmate was last seen wearing gray pants and a white t-shirt and the other burgundy pants with a white t-shirt, according to the Cannon Courier newspaper.
A police helicopter and Rutherford County mounted patrol and Tennessee Bureau of Investigation are assisting in the search.
Anyone with information about the escapees should call 563-4322.

Not too far from my friend's place. Directly behind his property a ways actually. I feel sorry for them if they come onto his land though...

UPDATE:
WOODBURY, Tenn. - The two Cannon County inmates who escaped from jail on Wednesday have been apprehended.
Authorities captured Aubrey Sanders, 31, around 11 p.m. in Woodbury. Police had been searching for him in the area near the Woodbury Water Treatment Plant off West Adams Street.
James Hill, 31, was caught about 10 p.m. in downtown Woodbury behind the Rite Aid Drug Store on West Main Street.
