I couldn't believe it... I was at the point where I didn't know what to say when the owner acted that way. My family has always drove Fords. When I bought my last truck I got such a good deal I ended up with a GMC. While I like the truck I have now, it's not a Ford and I thought it was time to go back. After yesterday, if I do go back, it will not be with a Ford from Sevierville.

What gets me the most... someone could have stole this truck and ran over a kid or two or maybe even someone in his own family and this guy could care less. Talk about a group of morons.

The more I think about it the more pissed I get. I wish I had recorded the 3 telephone calls. I have the video of the truck I took on my phone. Would have made pretty good case against them not getting any business.

Why didn't you call Sevierville PD?

Most of the people that I have dealt with there are jackwagons anyway. There are a couple good guys back in parts though.

Take the video to a TV station in Knoxville. They would probably love to run it at the end of one of their broadcasts and have a good laugh at their expense!

Loans, not handouts.

That said... my brand-new '01 F150 with the small V8 was a POS and I got rid of it at 17-thousand miles.

basset, you need to research GM a little. The federal government spent nearly 50 Billion on GM with only 6.7 billion as a loan. How do the taxpayers own 61% of GM? The government would need for GM stock to double in price to break even. We all get screwed and some of you union guys didn't even know where the wet spot came from.

Take it to the political forum.

>>some of you union guys
Wrong.

And the F150 was still a POS. Coughed a big wad of oil smoke on startup, the Ford dealer in Clarksville did the "we can't make it do that, there's nothing wrong with it" dance for awhile, slow-walked me for weeks, "you have to wait and talk to the regional service rep," that kind of thing... and finally a now-defunct Ford dealer in Nashville said they replaced the whole engine under warranty but if they did the new one had the exact same problem. Got rid of it and will never buy another Ford.
