Do I think she killed her kid? Yes
Do I think it was proved beyond a reasonable doubt? No
The system worked the way it is supposed to.
Exactly. She killed her daughter and got away with it because the prosecution couldn't make the case and that's EXACTLY the way our system is designed to work. The Prosecution must provide evidence that proves her guilt beyond a resonable doubt, and they didn't do that.

what's the big deal?, we (society) kill babies everyday. We just usually let doctors do it.
True!
IMO, if they could have proved "cause of death" she would have been found quilty of atleast manslaughter.
Do I think she did it? YES!

The prosecution simply OVERCHARGED her.
Had they gone with simple murder or simple manslaugther she would be facing years in prison right now.
there were no instructions for lesser included offences?
