I cannot say what I would like to. My thoughts right now are horribly judgmental and angry. From what evidence I saw, I truly believe she killed that sweet baby. The defense did their job by casting doubt. I hope for their sakes, they thought they were telling the truth. God help everyone involved.

I don't know how people can be angry at the jury. The jury was sequestered the whole time, they didn't have the news media feeding them snippets, they didn't have facebook and twitter to gauge how the country felt, they didn't see what was was going on in the courtroom when they weren't in there but "we" were i.e.:

It's not the jury's job to read into the prosecution's case. It is the prosecution's job to lay their case out there in an understandable form that leaves no doubt.

They failed.

"Not guilty" is NOT "innocent".

she will burn in hades for sure

state couldnt prove its case beyond reasonable doubt and i bet that was agonizing to the jurors with the verdict they had to make per the given laws.

sad thing is that she will profit from this for sure
and the child is dead

you just never know what a jury will do or what they key in on. Could be a simple a thing as they got ticked that the prosecutor was laughing while the defense attorney was talking.Sounds trivial but small things like that sway people.

The system worked the way it is supposed to.

Yes 100%. That is exactly what happened. There was not reasonable doubt. I would have voted not guilty and I feel sure she did it.

I agree 100%.

The system worked as it was designed.

Had I been on the jury I might have voted not gulity on the first vote but I was not on the jury so I didn't get to see what they did. Going by just what has been reported on the news I would vote guilty. But the news does not run the courts.

In this case the law won.

But it was the not guilty of manslaughter that threw me for a loop. I was sure they would get her for that.

She's as guilty as the day is long, but was smart enough to cover her butt at every turn....no smoking gun + more lies...too bad!

She'll face judgement again, and lies won't save her then.
