well I ordered the boards, cut from telephone poles.
Friend is to help me after work that has done this a few times.
I have them cut and all but 3 placed.
question is
How do you get the last 3 in place? cut & reweld?

trailer now has new wheels, tires, bearings, and floor. think its new again

The way I did it was to get a small piece of 4x4 in the middle of the board. Put one end in the slot then have someone apply pressure to the other end and to help guide it into the slot. when everything is lined up, knock the 4x4 out and it will pop in place

looked at the 4x4 approach
decided to just grind the welds, pull the angle iron, and reweld
got the wood from a mill here off Shelby Drive that cuts them from used telephone poles.
here she is all finished...
