List break is 117,000 lbs. This particular sample achieved 122,550 lbs. So as far as break strength, it passed. However, my customer is looking for a rope that does not instantly and violently snap back. He wanted to see what it did in a controlled pull test, as opposed to field use. What he sees in the field is comparable to this, so he's looking for a better solution.
