I dont think it matters what we all say we would do on a talk forum...not until the very second you have that experience, do any of us know what we would do. Just sitting here at the computer thinking, I dont know what I'd do. So if I am ever in that situation, I dont have a D*$^ clue \:D

There is an outdoor writer now living near Durango, CO. he is a sane, down to earth person. He is also a traditional hunter. uxses nothing but bows he made himself. Has never entered any animal in any recordbooks and thouogh he has several that qualify, he never mentions them. He also does not drink or do any type of drugs.

A few years ago, sitting at a table near the swimming pool at a large hotel, he and I were discussing a variety of things and bigfoot came up. he got very quiet and then said, "I have seen one twice. I assume it was the same one. I saw it the second time, within 100 yards of where I saw it the first time...four days apart. Both times it was abouot 3:30 in the afternoon and I saw it quite clearly. It crossed a logging road in the mountains above my house and I saw it in full daylight for perhaps 15 seconds. I kbnow exactly what I saw and i don't give a ---- if you or anyone else belives me. I found no tracks, hair or scat and I have been all over that country. But I saw one."

That is pretty close to his exact words. I believe he saw one.

Never seen a bigfoot.... seen a black panther in SC in the fall of 93 in a field about 30 yards in front my truck. We thought it was fake until it took off running. We had a lot of outlaws in my neck of the woods. Being a 18-19 year old kid, I didn't call DNR to report or look for tracks. It was in a disc river sand field so there was no doubt tracks... just don't know how well they would have showed up in that sand. Of course it's too late now to worry about. My guess was he/she was going into the dump to eat all the dead chickens we threw in there from the chicken houses.

You always think of things you would do different if you had a chance... one of the reasons I try to always have a camera with me now. Probably never see another one but I know for a fact what we saw that night. It stood still for probably 45-60 seconds... the main reason we thought it was fake and the only reason I got out the truck and walked towards it.

Ive never seen any of them. We had a neighbor that lived across from our deer camp in N. McNairy county. He said he saw a big black cat sunning on a downed tree back in the swamp behind his house. Thats probly been 35 years ago.
