I have been there a few times, I hunt around the Duck river, and a lot of it seems to have current, but there are slow places I am sure. But for the most part, it seems to be a moving river.
I want to go float it too someday. But if I'm down there I'm either hunting or shooting targets or skeet.

DBLA do to the recent rains, and flood warnings in Bedford Co. yesterday, for safety reasons I wouldn't want to see you take your children on the Duck.Icrossed it yesterday in Henry Horton, and it was up and muddy.Normally when their turning water loose at Normandy it gets it up down our way,if you have any more question call me or Burd.

The Duck is up and looks like chocolate milk. Drove over it this morning and it looks like its up from two days ago. I wouldn't get on it.

I know a really nice place here in McMinnville. It's on the Collins river. It takes about 6 hours from one bridge to the next.

Took the lab to HH late yesterday. It looked dangerous - way high and moving fast.

Normally the duck is a awesome float.... today and probably for most of the weekend I would stay off the river. Its like said above...high, fast, muddy, and dangerous. Shoot me an email when your readyto float the river as I run a shuttle service on the Duck.

Fordman what shuttle do you run? The one that takes out @ HH or River Rats?
