It's not funny, but it is at the same time! We were out on the lake in our kayaks. Pontoon boat puts in the water and idles past us. We turn to go up in a cove and we hear the boat throttle up..
I hear what sounds like he rev'd the motor up. Almost like he spun a prop or something. We come out of the cove and couldn't believe what we saw..
HIS MOTOR FELL OFF THE BOAT! IT FELL OFF THE BOAT! The poor guy was jumping up and down. We had to laugh, but I would have been so mad. He had to hook up a trolling motor to make it back to the dock! talk about a bad day.

We still can't figure out how it happened. Hit a log or something. I know some of the smaller motors just use C clamps to hold them on, but this was a good size motor.
