Ok, thanks. That's where we're leaning right now since my wife loved her so much.
When she was still a pup somebody tried to kick the front door in on my wife while I was at work. My wife said she sounded ten times her size and mean! Deadbolt held and I guess the barking ran them off.

Sorry for the loss.
Brittney, Springer or Boykin spaniels are great dogs. Had them all.

english labs. they are more appealing, stockier and calmer than common american bred or field labs.
