Seen a black bear on the mountain here in Rockwood on lower rd if anybody knows the area its around the WMA.

Are you talking about the intersection of Lower Rockwood Road and Old Airport Rd? Did your buddy take a picture?

know it well. mt. roosevelt was our main spot for several years after bowater quit selling permits. aren't there a few bears on catoosa?

I live on dry hill so I think he's talking about the intersection on airport rd and lower. Im out of town so I don't know other than he seen it on lower. No pic.

i grew up in westel and my dad lived there his whole life, still swears by bears and panthers up there

I own property off airport Rd. near Catoosa, and there are definitely bears there. We have pics of them from trail cams.
