How do you guys carry? any of you specifically carry concealed? any who run around open?
Ill be carrying very soon (as soon as it comes in the mail), but I cant imagine running around with something stuffed in my pants and buying bigger pants to fit it in..(i already feel bad enough with my pant size)...so open seems like a better option to me at the moment. By Tennessee law, open carry is legal. Just because something is legal, however, does not make it wise.
Yup, most times the best way to defend yourself and others, is through the element of suprise. If I was a thief, you'd be my first victim, which would emininate the threat and that would allow me to do whatever I was there intending to accomplish

i have thought about that...but then there are other sides I have read too, where this would perhaps scare the threat away.

True
Every situation is different! It all depends on where, when, the mood of the "bad guy", as well as many other factors.
About the only time I carry open is when I'm just running into the gas station way out in the country at night or something (when its not crowded and I'm just running in and then running out real quick). All other times, I carry concealed.....everywhere I go

I carry outside the waistband, but concealed. I don't have a problem with those that open carry, but it's not for me.
Gonna check out the crossbreed OWB holsters.

It never happened so far to me and others that are on the LCP talk forum who have one. It's made not to come out with the gun. I wear it in my shorts dorning the summer and it's perfect. If you want to link to the forum PM me.

99% of the time, I carry concealed. 1% of the time, I want everyone to know I got it on. Normally when Im workin in the hood.

I'll OC frequently when I'm out hunting, scouting, or doing work outside and it is really hot just so my holster does not get soaked with sweat. Hunting because I have my harness on and makes it more difficult to get to my sidearm.
Like JCDeerman, maybe an occasional late night run down the street or something: Quick and not going to encounter much of anyone, but concealed is the way to go. I don't want the attention, and definitely not interested in preaching my 2nd amendment rights to anyone that feels a need to question the legality or circumstances of carrying a gun.
