so i was driving home last night from the inlaws and on a marshall county back road i saw a deer with a orange collar on it...we stopped the truck and watched it for a few minutes..it was not 45yards from the road standing there...it was a doe and there was a buck with some small new growth with it....why would this deer have a collar on??? did someone catch it and put it there??some one make it "tame"?? is it some twra thing?? i really dont know...
what yall think????

Well, I think most likely an individual put that on that deer. (not an agency) Unless you see some additional numbering or tags.
I know of a man that's done that to a few deer. He's gained the confidence of several deer that come into his backyard that he can get within an arm's reach of these deer.

Had a collared deer show up on our football field back when i was in highschool. Game warden came and got it.
