im not one of those lazy,good for nothing union members you hear so much about.ive always been a hard working,pride in my craftsmanship,show up to work ready to work kind of guy.a days work for a days pay in a journeyman like manner.i still enjoy my work and i especially like the money and benefits.with the cancer now and a couple of other problems my doctors seem to be in agreement that i will be unable to work for an extended period of time and there is some question as if i will be able to return to my chosen profession.i went ahead and started the paperwork to try to get my social security disability.right now in entitled to about $2600 a month plus my 11 year old would get just under a thousand if approved.if this become a permanent disability i would also be entitled to withdraw money from one of my retirement accounts.i could use that to pay all our bills including the house note,get us a couple of new vehicles and still have a significant amount to reinvest.im also considering a career change so this would give me the opportunity i need to go back to school and try to learn me something that isnt as hard on me as what i do now.

i took a highline fall last friday from quite aways up
after walking the steel for 6 months
lucky i didnt hit any truss work on the way down
fall restraint system saved my butt
i am no longer a industrial electrician apprentice by my own choice
i wasnt gonna have fall #2 when it comes up involve truss work stopping me, instead of the breakaway strap on a clear fall path like this one was
you do what you have to do to support your family!!!!!!!!

wonder how much computer work stuff pays that might be a option for you
at home work
buddy of mines wife is a medical coding specialist
charts , billing, medpaperwork stuff
she works at home and makes $750.00 plus aweek after taxes
she went to one of the traing schools for i think 6 months and they had job placement
benefits aint great
but they are military so they got that covered
good luck man!!!!!!!!!
im thinking of alot of things to start my own bussiness
unfortunatley my wife aint too hot on the idea of a topless barber shop idea of mine up by ft campbell on 41a
or the bikini coffee shop idea either on 41a
man both would be money makers from heck
pretty topless girls cutting hair
or the girls in bikinis and theme day outfits at a drive thru coffee shop with a huge veiwing/ seving window serving expensive cheap tasting coffee
anyone that has been to ft lewis washington around seattle knows exactly what im talking about with the coffeee shops!!!!!!
