Considering the time spent on it, you're absolutely right Duck; however the total parts were cheaper than buying one but it's a do-it yourself project and a sense of "a job well done" goes along way with me and everything having to do with deer hunting. Unlike every store bought version I have seen, this thing was designed to have a very low center of gravity and balanced so all your doing is pulling weight instead of pulling weight plus having to balance the thing--and with the bigger wheels it isn't hard to pull.

This is one that was built several years ago. We used 3/4 conduit and used wheels from Northern Tool. I have had a 3 1/2 year old buck, my stand and my pack on it at the same time with no problems. It has a very low center of gravity so stability is not a problem. We also designed it for the weight to be over the wheels, so balance is not a problem and all you are pulling weight—instead of weight plus having to balance the thing. As far as cost the conduit cost maybe $25 and the wheels costs totaled up to about $35. Fortunately we had means to borrow a welder.
