sometimes these posts are quite common, some hit on it and some do not, maybe people fell quilty maybe not, the reason for some of these posts just might be a learning experience to help teach others and the member who started the thread was not looking for a comment from a "dumocrat" but to maybe help others avoid the mistake in the future, think about it

If you mean posting about something you did that violated game laws (such as the snake catching thread that got locked)... I know what you mean. I did it once here, admitted my mistake and sort of made up for it by purchasing the specific license I needed that same night. No officers ever showed up... I think they let it go.
If that is what you are referring to

Every year, without fail, someone posts something here, about something illegal, including pictures. Obviously the same happens on facebook.
Then, they wonder why the authorities would investigate or there is outrage.
There is a simple answer to all this.
Don't believe me, ask Anthony Weiner.

If I ever did post or do post something that turns out to be illegal I'll certainly take my lumps for it. I don't intentionally do anything illegal but Lord knows it may happen due to ignorance and I would try to learn from the screw-up.

I have no problem when people "repent" for past violations, maybe even apologize to the rest of the community for doing so.
We all make mistakes and I admire people than own up to it and apologize.
Bragging about a violation and throwing out arrogance like it was a fishing lure is a totally different thing.
Being from a small town, I've seen people's picture in the local paper with a snake they had killed. I often asked, "Isn't that illegal?".....None of these people were ever written a citation for killing a snake, to my knowledge.
I realize that killing snakes is illegal, but I think that it comes done to "threat". If a snake doesn't want to die, it does not need to get close enough to my house to be seen by my wife....I have to live with this woman...lol!!
