i have a gamo also, im not sure which model but it shoots lead pellets 1000 fps, i mostly use the new gold plated pellets that shoot 1200 fps. its accurate out to about 35 yards.

You're right about those scopes. They are dollar store pieces of crap. Buy a 50$ 22 scope and it'll shoot. Used the scope for target practice lol.
