No I don't have a pic; nor have I saw this pic. A guy in Springfield, Tn., says he killed a 5' Copperhead bushhogging on his property. This is property my buddy and I have hunted on for years. My buddys dad has saw the pic and says it is a copperhead, he may be miss judging the size due to the way pic looks. I have saw a lot of them in Ark. and La. but never over 3' long, does anyone know if they get that long or not?

I did some looking around and most websites say Copperheads range from 24 - 40 in so I would say 5 ft is really big.

I personally killed one a few weeks ago down at the creek that measured right at 48 inchs.

Typically "around" 3 to 4 feet is normal.
I have personally seen two that were 5 feet in length though.

i have never personally seen one over 3 ft. most are closer to 2 ft. but like everything else, there are exceptional specimens out there.
