have any of you guys ever had turf toe? I had to play my last 3 rounds of golf in my tennis shoes due to some ants that decided to make my golf shoes home. i caused turf toe in my right foot. OMG it hurts. i will never call a ball player a whimp for not playing when they have it. i can hardley walk. for those that dont know, turf toe is a strain in the tendon of your big toe.

Yep. I have distance run for a lot of years and developed turf toe in my right big toe. Took two years for it to totally heal. Of course, I keep running on it which made it worse. Painkillers do not help

Its common with football players. if you follow college or pro football much you'll hear the term often. it actaully got its name because its common for football players that play on artifical turf.
