Haven you looked at the new Springfield Arms xdm. The 9mm has a 19 round clip. Just sayin.

That's a cool round, but has a lot of bark. -too much for most people. I heard that the FBI tried switching to the 10mm a few years ago, but the 3 shot grouping consistency suffered so much in training/tests that they reverted.
I carry a Glock 23 (.40s&w).

I would go with a G23 or G32, the size is the same as the G19. Standard mag capacity is 13 rounds versus 15 for the G19. I personally prefer the .40 or .357 but truthfully shot placement is the name of the game anyway.
If I were set on getting a 9mm the G19 would be my choice. I carry a G22 everyday and while it's not a "pretty" gun it's reliable. Good luck with whichever you choose.
