buying a motorcycle.
guy owes 1200 to Harley (financing)
how would you go about the transaction?
bill of sale and take possesion of the motorcycle enough?

Contact the lien holder (HD finance) make arangements to pay off the note in exchange for a clear title.

You call if they will talk to you. Explain the situation and that you will clear the note and give him the difference for a clear title.

called them.
guy gave me his dob, social and loan #
writing Harley a check and him a sepperate one
should be 2 weeks and till title make it in.

oh and called the dealer and verified the service history.
he did have it in for EVERYTHING
well documented bike, no known problems, etc.
feeling better about the purchase now
