now may be the time to get one. my wife turned all the paper work in may 31 and got the permit back in the mail today! 2 weeks has to be a record with dept of safety. my permit took 6 months in 1996.

If anyone needs the class in Middle TN, specifically, Cannon County area, I can provide you with the contact info for a qualified and well priced instructor. If you live within a 45 minute radius and don't mind the drive, it is probably the best deal going.

Not to change the subject but.... has anyone ever misplaced/lost there wallet and had to get a replacement carry permit? If so, what did you have to do? And how long was the wait?

I got mind in less than an hour in Alabama!
Are yall serious? 3 months in Tennessee. I thought you just took the 8 hour class and went and got it like a drivers license.
