The levy breeched today and if the backup one they made earlier don't hold the town will be under 4' to 8' of water until August or September. The dams on the river are still letting out more water each day and the river isn't exspected to crest until July. Not to mention the rains they just got the last couple days. Going to be along summer on the Missouri.

Yeah, a lot of the land we had leased is under water but I bet the hunting in the Loess Hills will be great this fall.

Seems their 100-year flood is every 10 years or so.

Hamburg, IA. The levee broke andthe Missouri River is all over the place. We had the river bottoms on both sides, IA and NE leased a few years ago. I loved to hunt those bottoms because you never knew what youwould see. They were travel corridors for all manner of wildlife.
