Hmmm, let's see. I would leave my boat covered at my parents house behind the gate in the backyard. Just go over and get it when needed. Not this past winter, but the winter before that, my mom's dog decided to make my boat her home. Clawed a hole through my ratchet cover and camped out in the boat, I guess. When I went over one day to charge the batteries and run the motor on the water hose, I saw the big hole in the cover. Took it off and found my trolling motor cable chewed in half, from the head to the foot pedal, as well as my prop on the trolling motor. Wiring harness for trailer lights, chewed off. Ratchet straps on trailer chewed in half. Dang dog started gnawing on the end of the throttle handle, too. To make it worse, the buckle straps for my passenger seat at the console were chewed off, too, as well. Dog was an inside dog for the most part and never had the first problem with her chewing on stuff until then and then the aggression turned towards any other dog, outta the blue. Dog is no longer with us.

Wow! A lot of these just reinforce my diligence to not leave mine in a position where it can get to anything of value.

Dresser, mattress, bed covers, pillows, shoes, socks, cell phone cases, fan electrical wire, china cabinet, dining table legs, all the dining table chairs, a recliner, about 10 leashes and a few collars, tore up two kennels, holes everywhere outside, holes chewed in carpet, ate top layer from wood floor of inside kennel I built.

It would take me days to remember and type everything.

It's our fault though cause they have nowhere to run and play and burn off their high energy everyday.
