Next time just cuss the trooper out and spit on him.. he will either a) whip your rear good then let you go cause you done been punished b) throw your rear in jail and you can get it all taken care of when you go for bail the next day or c) both. In any case you wont have to worry about how to send em the money.

I once got a speeding ticket in a town an hour from my home. I showed up for court and sat through the whole proceedings without them calling my name. A half dozen other people were sitting there confused, too. We went up to the clerk and he said if he didn't call our name, there was no ticket. I was cool with that. The cop must not have turned them in.
I hope yours clears up soon.

I once got a ticket in Raymond, MS (pop. 300) for going 60 in a 25. The officer confiscated my driver's license on the spot, wrote me a speeding ticket, reckless driving, and failure to yield to a police officer (There were ditches on both sides of the road, so I drove until there was a pullout to park).
While she was writing my tickets, my buddy called asking where I was. I told him I was pulled over. He asked who the officer was and when I told him it was a female, he said "Oh, heck, she's my neighbor and buddy, I'll be right down there to take care of this." So, my friend pulls up as she's handing me my ticket and I am pleading to have my driver's license returned, after all, I am innocent until proven guilty and I just can't buy the fact that a officer can confiscate my license on the spot for speeding. Besides, how am I supposed to drive home with no license? I ask her this and she responds that my speeding ticket is my new driver's license (WTC?)
Anyway, my buddy pulls up and gets out of his truck and she wheels around and draws her sidearm on him, orders him to the ground, instructs me to leave the scene immediately, which, of course I comply with.
So, I arrive at my buddy's house and tell his mom what just happened. She jumps on the phone, calls the the chief of police at home and let's him have it. I mean HAVE it. I keep trying to interject that I had no problem paying the tickets, I just wanted my license back, at least until a judge revokes it (which I'm not even sure a out of state judge can do) 15 minutes later, the officer who issues my ticket pulls up the house, hands me my driver's license, apologizes on behalf of the community, and the local PD, and hands me torn up copies of my citations. She was fuming angry, which I sort of understand. I had no wish to have her humiliated and attempted to express this, but she would have none of it. -ain't been back there since.
