Ran across this deal on living social and thought maybe someone here could take advantage of it. It would be a great deal for anyone looking to take a handgun safety class that meets TN's requirements for a permit. I took my class back in March and paid $70 plus had to bring my ammo. Looks like this deal includes a handgun rental and your 50 rounds (only shoot 48 for TN requirements.)
Living Social Handgun Permit Class
PS- it says if three sign up using the link then the original user gets one free. I already have my permit so there's no alternative motive-- just passing it on. If three people sign up we will figure out a creative way to give the free one to someone who needs it.

im considering this...I just hate that its in Nashville and im in knoxville ;/
there are plenty of places in and around knoxville. probably cost you more than 50 bucks though. ours was $75 at frontier firearms in kingston.

Frontier is running a $60 class right now. They also do a Tues/Thurs evening class.
