I wish I could get a Rabbit to eat! It has been 12 years seance the last time I have killed a rabbit. I have asked a few people to bring me one but so far nobody has. \:\(

Buffalo, deer meat, rabbit......sounds like a good healthy diet to me.
I have several Bison dealers I buy from, if anyone's interested.

It definitely ain't cheap, but it is wonderfully delicious, and makes a great 'special' meal.

i think rabbit is said to be the only meat you could starve to death trying to live on,dont know how true it is but have read it several places over the years

That is true. If you had to live off rabbit, you would get protein poisoning. You could prolong your life by eating the entrails, brain etc since you can get a bit more fat out of there.

Man, that does sound good! \:\)

My brother and his wife are free range meat eaters. They have buffalo occasionally. My dad made a buffalo burger for them on one cookout...I'd rather have that than beef, just for something different.
