how many hunters on here uses 2 way radios to communicate between other hunters thats in your hunting party?i use to use my old fire radio when i went out of town but i quit the fire department so i bought me some Midland 36-Mile FRS Radios with the Headset Bundle to stay in touch with my brother this year.

ah i c well i don't have a cell phone anymore because of the service in my part of the state sux big time. and the only thing i ever when i had one was bill collectors for other people and sales calls and stupid stuff like that LOL.so i would like to get a other one but not right now though to much hassle trying to keep them from calling

Tried every one of them on the market and basically I found them all to be useless if you were more than a few hundred yards apart.
Texting is much easier and more reliable in the areas I hunt.

Texting is much easier and more reliable in the areas I hunt.
we have the motorolas when they 1st cam out. gave almost $400 each for them(20+ yrs ago). they will work more than a few hundred yards(at least 2 miles). but they rarely get used anymore since cell phones.
