Sorry, I just get defensive when people bash unions. Everyone has GMphobia I guess. Not all union workers make $50 an hour, free health insurance for life with a $48,000 a year pension

Benefits are just that 'a benefit'. I'm not sure why everyone thinks they are entitled to anything other than a paycheck for the work they do.
I am grateful my employer offers me 'benefits' but realize they are a negotiable tool.
No matter though, if Obamacare comes to be we've already been told they'd be yanked.

There is good everywhere and there is bad everywhere! Everybody here knows that a union is not required for being a stupid slob-dumbarse! As with anything SOME will use union #'s to back up their weakness\laziness but that doesn't make ALL union workers or unions bad!
The people in the video whether union or not are despicable!

Here's a question for you union haters.
your employer walks in Monday morning and says hey guys we are gonna double your salary and triple your retirement. How many of you are gonna say oh no thanks, that may hurt the company? Come on, be honest.
Since my boss didn't do that, we should all FORCE him to.
Yea, C'mon, be honest. It's all about ME, give me MINE, you OWE me for giving me a job.
If I can't EARN it, I'll make people jealous of someone else's salary and TAKE it for ME!!!

Never pass up a chance to bash the Union even if it's not true. It was some students protesting over a voteing issue. Watch the video and read the back of the shirts they are wearing.
DO watch the video and read the shirts then read the story. Here's part that do NOT want you to see,
The United Council of UW Students provided zombie makeup and T-shirts that read, "Students are as good as dead."
Of course UCUW said they did NOT support what happened BUT it was THEIR T-SHIRTS THAT THEY GAVE TO THEIR MEMBERS. Remember the set in at the state campitol that messed it all up??The unions said they did not do that BUT IT WAS THEIR MEMBERS that were there. Same thing.
So the Student Council in your eyes is a union....thats funny.
