Couple of weeks ago I posted about him getting rear ended and the car was totaled out by the insurance company. They offered me 2900 and me keep the car. I shopped it around a little and then put it on LSN. Withing 3 mins of posting it I had a guy call and wanted to come look at it. He drove down with his wife and they bought the dang thing for 900 dollars. So I called Mr. Geico and said I would take his offer. Got a check for 2900 for the car, a check for 350 loss of use and 900 dollars cash..4150 dollars for a KKB value of 3150 bucks. So I sent my wife to Knoxville to look at a 2002 model civic last night. Gave her a check list to evaluate the car and $4900 in cash. I got home this morning and in my driveway is the car. Pin clean best looking car for that year I have seen. My son is tickled to death with it. I put a little extra in since i had been quitely looking for him a graduation gift from highschool. This whole thing has turned out well. The couple we bought it from is young couple with two children needing a van. I feel good about the deal.
