Okay. I don't like it either and think it's stupid, but it's a private school. Don't go there and don't subscribe to their beliefs.
If they get federal funding then fine. Pull it. I don't think they deserve it after this.
As a private school they can do whatever they want. Good post. This reminds me of people raising heck because private country clubs only let certain people in. It's a PRIVATE club. They should be allowed to let in only those they want. But do those PRIVATE CLUBS get PUBLIC MONEY???? This college does get PUBLIC MONEY.
Can you provide any proof that the college mentioned gets Public money?

I agree with ya Duck....to bad it ends up this way more often then not with someone bringing up something that has nothing to do with the topic at hand.
I just have a hard time accepting someone that trys to control others lives yet don't want to accept the fact not everyone thinks the same. The place to air out minor differences IMO is NOT out in the open. There IS a fine line between disagreement and personal attacks in some cases. Go back and read Ben's second and third posts on this thread, there is the personal attacks. Before him nobody attacked anybody, we just talked about the school. Ben made the personal attacks. Over on the other forum Ben's very first post on the subject was a personal attack on me and had nothing to do with the subject at hand. My post places blame on no one person. Just the fact it kept going was, IMO, a bit much. Could you please answer my question I posted?
On Fox & Friends yesterday that same question was asked the student pointed out that the school like most colleges get both federal and state money for gants and research as well as other things.
The thing is not too long ago a private school was on the news for something they did and the liberals were all over it forcing the federal govt to pull all money from them, ever the school lunch program. Anybody care to guess what the name of the school was?? Remember they were a PRIVATE SCHOOL.

Funny thing is over on the political forum when we ask you for proof you most times tell us to look it up.
After I made my last post I went to the college web page and after just 3 minutes looking around there it was, they DO get federal and state aid and gants. Go see how long it will take you to find it.

From one of my previous postings:
Just because the school gets taxpayer dollars doesn't mean those funds should be taken away. I would say that if that were the case then it should be voted on by ALL the taxpayers before taking it away since it is MY money as well as OTHER people's money who pay taxes.
THAT would be fair IMO.
