How far does it go back into the rock ? The lake I live on has several caves and deep overhangs kinda like that. I have been in a few over the years but always thought about that monster rattlesnake that may live there.

You can actually see through this one.. maybe 15-20 feet. There are caves all around this rock. This rock is just above a creek that flows through SE Ohio

Quite Interesting! I would like to know what the engraving you posted about looks like. If the place is 'secret' make sure it stays that way and get the state historical society, etc. involved.
