Another good stop in East Nashville is Bolton's Fish, right there by 5 Points. Whenever I'm in Nashville, I stop by there and grab one to go and take it up the street to Red Door East to wash it down with a PBR or 5
Bolton's has great hot chicken too.
The Hot Fried Chicken Festival should be coming up and you can have a taste from all the best hot cookers in the Nashville area.

Went to the first Hot Chick Fest and will not be back. Kinda like shopping the day after Thanksgiving but this is outside and 100 degrees. Beer tent is not as crowded, but people will line up hours before it opens to be one of the first 500 to get free chicken.
