Got home from work this morning, while standing on the porch I noticed the hood of my wifes car looked like it wassnt latched. I walked to the front of the car and thats when I saw the front bumper busted and the hood and grill smashed. I walked in the house and scootman was sitting on the couch with a scared to death look on his face. Scoot and his bud went fishing yesterday evening and got run off the road and hit the ditch and a driveway embankment. I had so many thoughts running thru my head...was everybody ok, to be mad about the car, , why didnt you call me. Did you hit the other car? Are you ok, is brody ok. Everybody is ok just a little seatbelt rash on the shoulder. I tell you guys, Im tore down, I just hugged him and thanked the Lord he was ok. This having teenagers driving is gonna make me old before my time

Yep, definitely sounds like an truth-adjusted compromise statement.
Not that you shouldn't be glad they're ok.

I made "damage control statements" as a teenager!! Saved alot of damage to my hind-end.

I am happy that he is okay. Cars can be fixed or replaced. Our kids are much more important.
Glad he was ok man. I got one more year.... well I got about 6 months then I will be a nervous wreck.
Just so you know...the DMV will not write you a prescription for valium.

Yep! Welcome to America. I got two! There 24 and 21 now, but Ive made either 4 or 5 accident scenes with my yunggins being involved.

HA HA yea Ive had to come up with a few of those statements myself,after looking at the car and the damage, I just looked at him and said whatever....told him he just bought his fixer upper car lol wifey is loooking for her a newer one now
