I am in Columbia and the wife and I are looking to head to the beach next month. What is the closest one?

Nashville Shores is even closer. Now there's no sand, but you may want to check out Wave Country as well.

gulf shores then. I like fort morgan because not as much going on. It's a 15 minute ride to orange beach, but we usually cook a few meals anyway.
