We got to come home last night after 2 weeks of torture at Baptist. Becki is doing good, and the baby seems to be getting better. His right kidney is still enlarged and has two ureters. We gotta get all of our doctors lined up and head back to the hospital. They are giving us a 2 week break.
Get home last night, and our A/C had went out and it was 82degrees in the house. We are gonna have to break down and get a new unit. 3 years in a row that its had to be recharged.
We've had some serious hard times... guess the A/C is just another thing to add to the list.

Missed the baby stuff but hate to hear it. We had our 2nd child at Baptist because of complications with the first. You're in good hands there. Prayers for all to get better.

His right kidney is still enlarged and has two ureters.
I had that as a kid, but didn't show up as any problems until about 7 years old when my kidneys stopped working well. The docs back then called it "Bright's disease" but I don't think that term is used any more. I missed about two months of second grade going to docs and lying in bed and taking various medications, but then it just quit getting inflamed and everthing started working OK again. Never had to get any surgery and haven't had any problems at all since age 7.
The kidney with the double ureter is still larger than the other one, but it all works and I made it through Marine boot camp and OCS OK and run a marathon, half marathons, 100 mile bike rides ect all through my 20's and 30's.
