Looks like the Taurus is going to be a total loss...thats what the claims adjuster recommended anyway. I liked that car.....

It don't take much to total one these days. I was in the same position not long ago when we lost our Chrysler 300 limited due to no fault of our own. I hate to be put in the position of having to find a replacement in a short time. The insurance only covered a rental for 15 days and it took 13 days to get a check from them. The day the check was sent out I got a call to return the rental. And we both had State Farm insurance.

dang hate that for ya,got caught in the hail storm in knoxville awhile back,$8300 to fix & it was worth 10,600.bought it back for 16%.taking leftover $ & replace the windshield & a taillite.its an 07 taurus sel with the works.the only good thing is the payments gone
