Since Iowa made it easier to get a cwp in January(made it so the sherrif in that county couldn't deny a permit without a good reason) there has been several businesses post no guns allowed signs in their windows. One was robbed at gun point last night.

It's stupid - those 'rules' only create free fire zones for bad guys - and if you carried anyway - and something happend - and even IF you saved someones life - they would prosecute you for violating the sign -
it's simply stupid -

There are several towns that passed ordinances for no guns on public property. Too many uneducated people thinking it was going to be like the old west and the tv and media along with several sheriffs who felt they lost some of their power didn't help any. Some people acctually think a sign or ordinance will stop gun crimes and they're the ones running these cities!

i'm not gonna say that they got what they deserved because nobody deserves to be a victim. but if i was casing a place to rob, those signs would be a top priority.
