Two elderly men, who had been friends longer than either could remember, were sitting by a pond playing checkers. The first, a white man, proposed that Jesus was white. The other, being black, protested and said that Jesus was most assuredly black.

About this time Jesus showed up. They knew it was him because he was walking on the water of the pond coming right towards them. The two men nervously looked at each other and then back to Jesus who was nearly to them by now.

He looked each of them in the eyes and said,

"Buenos Dias"
