So my son, who you may remember from two weeks ago when his car wouldn't start while he was two hours away up in Knoxville, had to get some of his college stuff out of storage and brought home.
So he drives two hours away up to Knoxville to get it. Why? Two reasons: 1) that's where his stuff is, and 2) nothing can be easy.
He calls an hour ago to say he's sorry but someone pulled out and hit him. He's not at fault, and the damage isn't too bad, and the vehicle appears driveable.
The vehicle, by the way, is my truck 
On a good day my little truck has issues. Didn't need any more customization.
Calls back just now to say that apparently something got messed up, because the truck won't run. It started twice but died right away, and now it won't crank. I guess the guy that hit him is there trying to help, but if he's anything like my son, or me for that matter, there's probably not much gonna happen on fixing the truck.
  
He's got a wedding up there to attend, but guess I'll be driving up there to poke and prod at the truck later, and one way or another, will be driving us home. And then next week, driving us right back up to Knoxville again. LOL guess I should be glad it's only 2 hours away!
Hope they won't total my baby. She's only 17 years old!!

His is getting towed, but from what I understand the physical damage doesn't look too awful. It just won't run.
