After being shot twice last september in Afghanistan. He checked out of the wounded warrior platoon Tuesday and returned to his unit. 3/3 marines. He has got about 96 percent use of his arm back. They are scheduled to be deployed back to Afghanistan in November and if he passes all the physical tests he will be going back with them. I would like to thank everyone for their prayers and thoughts from here.
I would also like to thank a member personally on here. Bambi Buster you are a great man. I thank you for all you have done for my little bro. It has been a great honor to have meet you and I hope that one day I can get time off to make it up to your house or deer camp to meet up with you in person instead of over the phone or computer. If it was not for TNDeer the friendship between you and my family would have never came about. My words cannot express how much we appreciate all you have done for James. Also for the words of encouragement and great information you provided for my family when we was lost and scared. Thank you
And my words cannot express how much I appreciate all your brother Lance Corporal Washburn and your family have done for our nation, and by extension, for me. Whatever I may have done in return pales in comparison to all Lance Corporal Washburn and your family have been through. I'll look forward to that meeting in person someday. In the meantime, please accept my wishes for a safe and meaningful Memorial Day.
