Okay Jimbo just so I got your opinion straight: You think that NASCAR should do something to punish him.
So, by that rationale if you or I do something wrong on our own time, our place of employment or affiliation we are connected to should also meet out some retribution on us too?
Maybe just like the NFL did to Ben?
Who would punish you for smoking a doobie? Sherwin Williams?
Absurd!
Let the law take care of these things.
I think that since Bush is one of the faces of Nascar and makes his living in Nascar, they should show the public that they do not condone this type of reckless behavior and should fine him for not only putting himself, his wife and possibly an innocent person in danger but for putting nascar in the news, in a bad way.
Much like the athlete that gets paid to be aggressive on the field, but is told to not be aggressive in public, off the field. KB is paid to drive this way around other drivers that can basically defend themselves, not on public streets where the average citizens are.
No matter how you stack it, teams/organizations are always associated with the people they employ.

It seems some on here think speeding is a more severe crime than rape or at least sexual battery.
Bingo....thanks for bringing this up again. I knew I could depend on someone.
once again, no evidence, no crime......
I believe Bush admitted to this....right?
nuff said.

Man, If everyone could just be perfect! But, as life goes, some of us push the envelope from time to time and do things we aren't suppose to.
Myself, I'm glad not everyone lives by every single rule. I'd get pretty bored pretty quick if I had to. Can you imagine having to sit on tndeer day after day, listening to the same ball-less drivle by all the perfect people? Give him a ticket and move on. reckless behavior such as this is fine as long as it's done where there is no possibility of injuring anyone other than the idiot doing it. doing 128 in a 45 zone does not fall into this category even if no one got hurt, this time. if this idiot wants to take his own life and life of his wife in his own hands, then fine. But, do it on a racetrack and stay off PUBLIC roadways. Again, fine him and move on. He's not the first to do 128 in a 45 and wont be the last. Some people like to go fast, it's human nature. Just so happens he has a big name, so we heard about it. I say 128 mph, by a nascar driver, testing out a new car is a little chicken chit to me. Should have easily got 140 out of it.
I guess it matters none that he was on a public street at the time....
amazing.

Of course it matters. I'm not saying he was in the right, I'm just saying he is human like you and I. I know you never do things you shouldn't, but I do. WTH do you want me to say? String him up and burn him from the outside in?
Back in your younger days, did you ever go way to fast? Or did your perfectness start as a infant? A fast car never got your adrenaline going? If not, refer back to the "ball-less drivel".
Stay up late tonight, say 9:45, and see if you dont feel more alive. Get crazy Jimbo!
What I find amazing is you wanting to make a big deal out of it. Fine him and move on. Maybe it will teach him a lesson and he will be more inclined to drive like the perfect people of this world. Or, maybe not.

I agree, its not like you should be punished more for being famous or successful. He just shouldn't be punished less. Was it wreckless? Yes. Was it dumb? Yes. Was it the same severity as driving drunk or gettin in a brawl or out of line with an officer? No.
Famous people are just people. Thats why I don't really care about seeing them. Treat them the same as everyone else.

All i said was that nascar should fine him for his wreckless behavior. I think his team should be very upset about this as wel and the team owner.....If he gets killed or kills someone else, then that behavior impacts alot of people's lives....Including people that work for Bush and their families...
And yes, when I was a teenager, I drove fast, much like everyone did. Late at night, out on abandoned highways, I've been known to go well over a hundred...oooohhhhhh! lol. I can proudly say that i have receied two speeding tickets in my life, one for driving 35 in a 30 and one for driving 62 in a 55.....both of these were over 30 years ago...!! LOL!!!!
Iwas a child then without responsibilities, a family and a bunch of people that depend on me.....I guess Kyle Bush still has some growing up to do.
Thanks
