Was in town last evening for my youngest Grandson's eighth grade graduation. He got several awards and we are proud of him, but one kid in his class got a full 4 year high school ride to a private boarding school in Chattanooga. I have never heard of something like that before out of a middle school.
Could you send your 14 year old off to school 200 miles away..don't think I could. Thats a bit to young IMO.

McCallie School in Chattanooga has been boarding students around a 100 years.
Ted Turner is a graduate.
I absolutely would NOT send my begats off to boarding school.
