Thanks everyone for your kind words and prayers. Yes ferg, I remember you. It's a lonely walk, esp when you (me) have not established a sincere relationship with Jesus Christ. For a long time after Kevin died, I would get in his dresser drawers and "steal" a whiff of his scent, if you get my meaning.
Hug your children every day, and never let a departure pass without saying I Love You, whereas it be in person, by phone, internet, etc. I didn't deal well with Kevin's death, and within a year and half I was divorced. There's a big difference in handling a loss when you can lean on Jesus and allow Him to comfort your heart. In the early 2000's I got through the loss of my mother, another son (last month post), nephew, father, & brother in subsequent years. God, and a loving wife, got me through it. If you're reading this, and dont know Jesus as your personal savior, I urge you to make that commitment and get to know Him. Trust me, at some point you will need Him.
