Man, what a hole

I was out runnin the other day on a farm down the road. I found a huge hole, I couldn't see the bottom of it. I threw some rocks in it and couldn't hear anything hit the bottom. I thought it was an old well, but surely I would have heard water splash. It's in the back junk area of this farm I run on. I found a old transmission sitting close to it, so I rolled it in, thinking surely I would hear it hit. I never did. Then I heard some rusling in the brush behind me. All of a sudden a billy goat came running towards me, he ran right by and dove head first in the hole!
The Farmer came over and I asked if he had a goat? He said yep! I told him it just dove in that hole.
He said " it wasnt my goat, mine is tied to a transmission"!
